Job Summary


Moog are looking to recruit an experienced NPI Engineering Manager to join our established Test Equipment team at our Tewkesbury facility however there is also scope for this role to be located at our site in Wolverhampton dependent upon your location.

This is an opportunity to join an industry leading business who operate at the cutting-edge of technology.


Our test rigs are used for development and production testing of our hydraulic products and we will look to you to take accountability for planning and organising the end to end test rig production process; from estimating through to conceptual and detailed design and from manufacture to installation.


You’ll lead a multi-skilled team of Engineers whose breadth of capabilities includes Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, Electronic and Software which means whilst you don’t need the full range of skills yourself you’ll have the ability to understand how these come together to ensure success.


To be successful, you’ll have strong leadership skills including the ability to inspire, motivate and develop others. You’ll have existing experience in a role managing a multi-disciplinary team and understand the complexity of systems.


You’ll also enjoy working in a team environment which will include working closely with internal stakeholders and as part of the global test equipment team.


Key Expertise

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Systems knowledge either in a test department or other multi-skilled environment

  • Ability to work as part of an onsite and global team including willingness to travel overseas
