As a System Analyst, you will serve as a technical project leader on major application development and enhancement projects.  This includes translating user and business requirements into technical specifications for the purpose of developing or enhancing an application to meet the needs of the business. You will work directly with the business to ensure project specifications are delivered to meet the requirements.

Here is an idea of what you’ll be accountable for:


  • Working independently to manage and execute all aspects of technical projects within the domain of the system responsibilities.

  • Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and occasionally modifying systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support application systems.

  • Writing documentation (expert level) to describe custom configuration of applications and operating procedures to liaison with 3rd party application development consultants.

  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance all existing Moog systems as applicable.

  • Available on call 7x24x365 for troubleshooting of critical business applications.  This is done to ensure the Moog users can perform business functions on a global basis.

  • Responsible for keeping critical applications and systems on line and usable. Demonstrate advanced problem solving skills, applying their learning and experience to even the most difficult technical challenges.   

  • Provide technical leadership to less senior staff members to ensure programming and design “best practices” are adhered to.

Here are the skills you will bring with you:


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical discipline

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience

  • Experience in architecting systems, software applications support, and/or technical systems administration

  • Experience with ERP and CRM (Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics) systems preferred

  • Strong Data skills (SQL, ETL) required.

  • Experience with Cloud Platforms (Microsoft Azure) preferred.

  • General programming experience (Java, C#, VB, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) preferred

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical problems and solutions to the business.

  • Great interpersonal skills.
