MOOG is a quoted US-owned worldwide manufacturer of precision motion control components and systems. With manufacturing facilities and sales offices in 30 countries, MOOG products and systems are found globally on a variety of industrial applications. Our location in Bettembourg, Luxembourg, focuses on R&D, designing and manufacturing of hydraulic manifold systems and components and employs about 100 people.

For the Assembly & Test (A&T) department, located in Bettembourg, we are looking for a

Supervisor Assembly & Test (m/f)


Your Responsibilities:


  • Analyze the A&T performance and take the right countermeasures for quality, on-time delivery and improve performance/capacity
  • Maintain and evaluate the routing times and independently improve the assembly work areas
  • Distribute the work and priorities to the team and plan the foreseeable activity and budget to fit with the customers’ requirements and the company forecast
  • Manage the staff (Recruit, motivate, train, evaluate and develop)
  • Lead or participate in projects where the A&T is involved (Continuous improvement, engineering projects, prototypes, quality, etc.)
  • Meet the HR and legal requirements (e.g. performance reviews, payroll information)
  • Ensure that the quality and security requirements are respected and applied
  • Manage the external suppliers for packaging and shipping

Your Profile:


  • Minimum Meister degree / Diplôme de technicien in the areas of hydraulic, electronic, mechanic, etc.; any technical apprenticeship within industrial environment is a strong asset
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position (preferably MTO environment)
  • Knowledge in measuring and evaluating manual assembly processes (ideally based on MTM, REFA or other methods)
  • Knowledge in Lean / CIP / Kaizen / 5S within assembly processes is a plus
  • Good knowledge in Excel and in an ERP system (ideally SAP)
  • Good management & leadership, communication, interpersonal and multicultural skills
  • Proactivity, problem solving, flexibility and results-orientation
  • Working proficiency in French and fluency in English or German
