As a Sr. Applications Developer in Moog’s Information Technology Group in the Industrial Division you are responsible for creating user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining complex software applications. The Senior Applications Developers will consistently apply the essential knowledge and competencies listed below while adding value to the business through user information solutions. The Senior Applications Developer is required to provide timely status reports to their supervisor in the Information Technology department.

What you can expect day-to-day:
• Able to write advanced code using current and new technologies to create dynamic applications.
• Able to design and implement reusable code and subsystems.
• Able to write unit and functional tests to ensure code quality
• Able to write concise yet comprehensive technical documentation
• Able to liaise with the business analyst to explore and suggest appropriate technical solutions to achieve the required product features while safeguarding functionality, scalability and performance.
• Demonstrable competence in two or more established programming languages.
• Strong familiarity with SQL.
• Ability to work in an unstructured, fast changing environment with rapid release cycles.
• Experience of working in an environment where products must be delivered to specific time-scales
• An ability to rapidly and effectively understand and translate product and business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience supporting, modifying and maintaining systems and code developed by teams other than your own

You’ll need...
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or minimum of 8 years professional software development experience.
• Software development experience: C#, .Net, JavaScript Frameworks, Web (HTML, CSS)
• Software Development Life Cycle experience
• Ability to work in an Agile team environment
• MS Tech stack: Visual Studio, MS Database, MS Server, Word, Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
• Angular
• Advance SQL
• PowerShell
• Workflow design and programming in K2
• SSMS
• Manufacturing experience
• Application environments: ERP, CRM, PLM, Autotime (Kronos), PeopleSoft
