Job Summary


The Reporting and Analytics leader will work closely with business process owners, the data lead and data engineers, and other leaders across our aerospace & defense business to identify, support and implement high-quality reports and analytics. The leader will ensure consistent and accurate reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analysts to follow, and will design and develop metrics, reports and analyses to drive key business decisions. The successful candidate will be part of our A&D digital transformation program, and drive our organization towards a consistent set of key business reports, and an ecosystem for analytics and data-driven decision making.


Responsibilities
  • Bear primary responsibility for the development of reports, dashboards, and other analytics as needed to support a major multi-year ERP transformation program.
  • Design and oversee testing strategies to ensure consistency between data collection sources, data warehouse database, reports, and dashboards.
  • Continuously assess reporting efficiency and effectiveness and work with development team to improve graphical display of data where possible.
  • Provide sophisticated analysis and output in the form of reports and data tables to meet operational needs.
  • Work with multiple, large datasets (primarily SQL, SAP S/4HANA, and Talend) by formatting, merging, and sub-setting them to meet the analysis goals.
  • Understand existing data quality processes, identify root causes of data integrity issues, and implement corrective action through strong partnerships with developers, data engineers, and analysts.
  • Initiate, plan, conduct, and collaborate on projects and statistical research.
  • Manage and disposition requests as appropriate, and communicate with all key stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years experience in reporting and analytics
  • Experience in leading initiatives and projects.
  • Direct experience with ERP, MRP, and/or MES systems preferred
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work across various functional groups to achieve solutions
