 We’re looking to grow our candidate pipeline for these current and future Quality opportunities:

  • Source Inspector – Perform quality assurance inspection on-site at supplier facilities and provide inspection results back to the cognizant Moog function.  The types of products will be of varying from simple components to complex items such as machined manifolds and electronic assemblies.
  • Final Inspector – Ensure compliance of completed hardware and software to Moog, customer, and federal requirements, while coordinating activities as necessary of Moog Sales, Quality, A&T, and Shipping personnel to ensure timely and accurate adherence to shipping procedures.
  • Quality Manufacturing Inspector – Diagnose complex, long-term problem jobs and develop the preventative steps necessary to avoid recurrence of the problem(s) in accordance with Moog quality standards. 
  • Functional Electronics Inspector – Responsible for the evaluation of purchased hardware and outside supplier processing through dimensional and visual inspection of electronic components, subassemblies, and assemblies, to industry standards including IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-WHMA-A-620.  Also review and approve supplier submissions of AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports.
  • Receiving Inspector – Perform a variety of mechanical/visual inspections on incoming purchased parts/assemblies, in-process and finished parts, First Article Inspections on machined purchased parts, in-house and/or at vendors when required.
  • Supplier Quality Engineer – Provide visual or dimensional inspection services for Moog while on-site at supplier facilities, to facilitate global shipments to various Moog facilities.
  • Final/Shipping Inspector –The inspection function involves review of the completed hardware for external visual and dimensional features.  The coordination function involves contacting and presenting completed hardware and software to customer and government representatives for approval and coordinating the shipping process. 

* In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" may be a requirement for positions in Aircraft Group.
