Moog’s Space and Defense Group (SDG) offers premier motion and flow control solutions for satellites, human-rated space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles, military ground vehicles, naval vessels, as well as security and surveillance.

As a Program Manager in Moog SDG, you’ll have a unique opportunity to work across business units, be responsible for diversified products, and be Moog’s representative to our customers. Your programs could vary from startup phase to follow on, all of which will offer a chance to work on incredible technology and with very talented people.

Here’s what you’ll work on:

  • Coordinating all program activities from contract awards through software and hardware delivery, you are the single point of contact for the customer regarding all aspect of the program.
  • You’ll have performance responsibility for your program, and will regularly deliver status updates to management.
  • Direct a matrixed group of people including: Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement, Contracts etc; many of which will be shared resources with other programs.

These are the skills you’ll bring with you:

  • BS in a technical field, preferably Engineering
  • 5 years of Program Management related work
  • The ability to organize people, the ability to influence, and outstanding ability to communicate and facilitate.
  • Proven knowledge and experience with formal project management, including use of project management tools, including Earned Value Management
