Job Summary

Moog Aircraft Group are looking to bring on board an experienced Manufacturing Manager to provide manufacturing leadership excellence, supporting the Wolverhampton business in the production and manufacture of high quality machined parts & assemblies.


In this role, you will responsible and accountable for the on time delivery, acceptable quality, minimum cost, of components or assemblies. In order to achieve the planned output, the Manufacturing Manager must work closely with all relevant internal departments such as maintenance, manufacturing engineering, product engineering, material control and supply chain.


The successful candidate must be technically competent related to the equipment and procedures used in the machine shop. Along with the technical competence, the successful candidate must possess excellent leadership skills and qualities.

Key Skills


• Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering/manufacturing discipline
• Extensive manufacturing leadership experience within Aerospace, Automotive or similar industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams and customers both internally or externally
• Be able to delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projects end to end
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques is essential and an experience of NADCAP procedures would be advantageous
• Have led Continuous Improvement / Change Management Activities to improve on time delivery
• Effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence
