Moog’s Corporate Group is looking for an IT Risk and Compliance Analyst.  As the IT Risk and Compliance Analyst role is to ensure that Information Technology and organizational Cyber Security risk is identified, managed, and remediated, while also supporting the IT Policy and Process Maturity Manager in creating an overall IT Risk Management Framework

 

Here’s what you’ll work on:

 
  • Executes IT Risk Assessments on a variety of applications, tools, and projects.
  • Assesses and monitors applicable risks based on risk management policies and procedures.
  • Supports and delivers an information security risk register to address risk issues and action plans from all sources, e.g., IT audit, technology risk assessments, vulnerability scans, penetration testing, etc.
  • Supports the definition of strategy and regulatory requirements, as well as the development of a robust framework for monitoring and reporting aggregated risk and risk response across Moog.
  • Supports the Information Technology and Information Security teams preparing for audits and assessments by third party organizations, including documentation retention, policy management, and process owner facilitation.
  • Participates in key initiatives as the subject matter expert to ensure alignment with IT and Information Security programs and initiatives.
  • Provides guidance and assurance to end users regarding leading practices in information technology deployment, cybersecurity, and risk mitigation.
  • Assesses the current adequacy of application security, configuration management, threats to the systems, and articulates those impacts to Information Technology management.
 

Here are the skills you will bring with you:

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, Management, or related field preferred or an equivalent number of years of related work experience required
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a risk management, information technology, or assessment/audit field.
  • Experience in any of following disciplines is strongly preferred: cybersecurity, business resiliency, vendor risk management, vulnerability management, patch management systems, business process consulting or internal audit.
  • Knowledge of and experience with common security policies and standards (i.e. NIST 800 series, PCI DSS, GDPR, CIS, SANS, ISO27001 etc.) required.
  • Experience in developing or interpreting Information Technology policies, procedures, or work instructions is preferred.
  • Industry recognized IT certification (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP) or equivalent certification is desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills required
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills mandatory, requires ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex information.
