An IT Business Partner is required to support our Electro Mechanical Motion Control business. The business partner will be required to facilitate the implementation & usage of IT Services from both Industrial Group and Enterprise IT.

This position requires that the candidate has significant experience setting and managing senior stakeholder expectations. The successful candidate will be expected to provide significant input into the leadership and management of the Industrial Group IT team.

Here is an idea of what you’ll be accountable for:

  1. Must develop trusted and strategic relationships with senior leadership and executives to ensure strategic alignment.
  2. Ensure business needs are represented, shaped and prioritized within the Transformation Office, with regards to both projects and IT services.
  3. Align the IT strategy to the business strategy, ensuring that any Industrial and Enterprise IT changes and plans are effectively shared and represented.
  4. Rationalize technology roadmaps to business needs, helping to identify value in information & technology investments as well as identifying gaps in IT capabilities in support of business strategies.
  5. Track and review performance of business initiatives and identify ways of increasing value
  6. Bring knowledge and awareness with respect to industry trends and digital advances and how they could relate to business opportunities and trends
  7. Facilitate site based activities (regionally) including compliance audits and the IT budget process (where applicable).
  8. Must act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the Transformation Office
  9. Must be willing to travel

YOU’LL NEED the following qualifications… 

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a technology environment with relationship management responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Ability to build a consensus of opinion and influence strongly help opinions
  • Good negotiation, co-ordination and team-building skills
  • The ability to explain concepts clearly to a variety of stakeholders in a variety of topics
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
