As a Global IT Service Manager (Storage Services) in Moog’s Corporate Group you will be responsible for providing leadership in the design and architecture of storage services at a global scale. Responsible for ensuring operational excellence in the delivery of storage service globally.

What you can expect day-to-day:
The Global Storage Services Manager is responsible for the execution of projects and changes to support business and IT strategy. Interfaces with business unit management and other IT functional area management to define storage support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness and for translating the IT vision into a highly reliable and cost-effective platform.
Responsible for end-to-end service delivery including all service offerings and the value that the service delivers. Development of a service strategy and a service roadmap. Prioritize initiatives, develop and manage budgets, negotiate with partners and vendors, and authorize the release of new capabilities. Expected to drive service maturity and service metrics. Ensure service-appropriate roles have been identified, filled, and published.
Expected to provide leadership and supervision for a diverse, globally located team of professionals within each process discipline.

You’ll need...

• Bachelor degree in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical disciplines.
• 10+ years of progressive experience (usually post-education) in the field of IT.
• Proven general capabilities in IT systems development and administration, technical troubleshooting and problem solving, and technical leadership.
• Proven specific capabilities in directing and mentoring subordinates, project management, and customer support.
• Excellent communication skills.
