Job Summary

Moog is looking to recruit a Heat Treatment Engineering Graduate on to our Graduate Excellence Programme at our site in Wolverhampton to start in October 2020. You will be part of the team delivering world class Nadcap accreditation in our Wolverhampton factory for chemical processing, heat treatment, non-conventional machining and Non-destructive testing. Writing and contributing to the writing of technical reports, assisting in preparing manufacturing procedures, assessing industry and customer technical standards, implementing requirements through manufacturing procedures and conducting quality audits of special processes such as heat treatment, plating and non-conventional machining will all form part of your role.

Experience/ Qualifications required

  • Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) with a minimum 2.1 in a subject such as Materials Engineering, Metallurgy or related STEM subject with an understanding of materials used in aerospace applications.
  • You must be able to work under supervision and take instruction
  • Interested in developing a technical career within Engineering
  • Articulate, both written and verbally
  • Good communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels
  • Team player, self-motivated, methodical in approach, quick to learn and able to work under pressure and to tight timescales
  • You should be accurate & "tidy" in your work
  • A genuine interest in Aerospace
