We are an organization based in the state of New York U.S.A., a recognized world leader in the design and manufacture of high performance precision control systems for aerospace, aircraft and industrial use. Our manufacturing facility at the Baguio Economic Zone is inviting applications for:
Safety Compliance Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Site Safety Manager and indirect monitoring of Corporate Safety / Safety Engineering Department, the Safety Compliance Engineer will be responsible for implementation of site compliance projects and assisting the Site E&S Manager with management system initiatives, review of site metrics and setting targets.  Scope of work will focus on enacting compliance assessments, engineering process solutions to reduce cost/hazards with fellow team members, measuring EHS  programs   Operates independently on a daily basis with general direction from the Site E&S Manager on new and large projects.  Works closely with other senior EHS team members and department managers.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

a. BS in engineering, environmental, chemical, civil or related degree of business related environmental/safety regulations at least 6 years of experience in the field of environmental & safety engineering & compliance in a manufacturing setting.


b. Must be an Accredited Safety Practitioner and Industrial Hygiene Officer (Attended the WEM Training & Workshop)

  5. Effective Communication- Organizational alignment, understanding others and being understood; Uses appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance of ideas or plan; modifies one's own behavior to accommodate tasks, situations, and individuals involved. 
  6. Strong Quality Orientation/Ownership- Ensures that the team consistently achieves the Quality requirements applicable to the scope of work.  Compliance to Quality Standards and Regulatory requirements.
  7. Financial Savvy- Familiar with own budget, mindful of expense, capital, headcount (all budget attributes) within process span of control. Manages cost and stays on budget.                       
  8. Customer Focus- Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; develops and sustains production customer relationships. Keeps commitments in focus.
