Overall Responsibility:
The Data Warehouse and Integrations Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses and integrations systems to meet the business’ analysis and reporting needs. Additionally, the Data Warehouse and Integrations Developer role includes documenting technical needs for ETL processes and databases, and ensuring that the optimal technical infrastructure is utilized. The Data Warehouse and Integrations Developer is required to provide timely status reports to their supervisor in the Information Technology department.


Essential Position Functions:

  • Design and implement ETL procedures for intake of data from both internal and outside sources; as well as ensure data is verified and quality is checked
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in data warehouse architecture development and utilization

  • Develop, test, document, and implement high quality reports on time that perform according to specifications and requirements documents

  • Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis

  • Perform the design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models

  • Ensure all data warehouse architecture codes are maintained in a version control system

  • Gather requirements through interaction with customer using any of the following techniques: interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis and/or viewpoints

  • Write requirements and design specifications, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously and concisely

  • Advocate for best business practices during all interactions with client and internal / external functions

  • Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel

  • Mentor and trains new team members

  • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others

  • Provide status reports in a timely manner according to current projects

  • All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established.


Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or minimum of 5 years professional Data Warehouse experience.
  • Data Warehouse experience with SSAS.
  • Power BI 
  • Data engineering experience: Proficient with SQL, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), SSIS
  • MS Tech stack MS Database, SSMS, Visual Studio, Word, Excel

Preferred qualifications:

  • Azure Data Factory
  • Advance Power BI with Administration

  • Tabular Model Schema

  • SSRS

  • Data architecture and dimensional modeling

  • Master Data Management
