Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Global quality management activities, working across Moog-AG sites and functional departments.
  • Lead Customer and cross-site communications related to quality including proactive communication to assure complete understanding of Customer requirements and enable Moog to anticipate their future needs, as well as timely response to emergent quality issues such as warranty returns and Notices of Escape (NOE).

This creates a strong possibility for things to get missed, follow-up to be incomplete, etc.
  • Resolution of complex quality issues can involve two to three dozen or more internal stake-holders divergent perspectives and interests that must be coordinated.
  • Complexity of quality issues encountered makes it difficult to develop standard work and the action imperative when problem arises naturally leads to adlibbing, requiring strong leadership to successful coordinate the team’s activities.
