We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst/IT Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for organizing our technical projects and ensuring that all members of the operating team work efficiently to successfully complete projects to schedule.  In addition, you will serve as the bridge between the Business and IT Developers, capturing the needs and requirements of the Business and managing testing to those requirements. You should have an aptitude for thinking outside the box and enjoy critical thinking, organization, and overall team management.


What you’ll be working on day to day:


  • Work closely with internal Business clients to document needs and requirements and translate those into functional specifications
  • Define and document Acceptance Criteria

  • Coordinate potential solution demonstrations, evaluation and selection

  • Interface with IT Developers to handoff requirements and specifications and design technical solutions

  • Coordinate testing to requirements, through any iterations, to final approval

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans which outline project status, individual tasks, milestones, completion estimates, and resource allocation

  • Follow up and ensure timely execution by assigned Project resources

  • Coordinate roll-out of test and production releases

  • Plan risk mitigation, resolve conflicts and facilitate removal of blockers to ensure project success

  • Create and maintain documentation of business processes and conduct User training

  • Manage projects across multiple sites, regionally, nationally and internationally

  • Provide updates, project status and risk analysis to project Stakeholders

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through post-project debrief with internal clients

  • Support Business needs on a day to day basis, troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly

  • Participate in Agile activities to manage and deliver Development backlog

  • Identify and implement process improvements

What you need to bring with you as basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in the computer science or engineering scope)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with complex, multi-site enterprise projects

  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle

  • Experience in Organizational Change Management

  • Experience in an agile/Scrum environment

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

  • Business strategy aptitude

  • Strong decision-making and leadership skills

  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate teaming, commination and collaboration across all Business and IT functions

  • Delivery and execution focused; works to deadlines and drives schedules

  • Ability to manage multiple activities and projects concurrently

  • Computer proficiency in programs such as Project, JIRA, SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Familiarity with IT standards or Methodologies such as ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, SAF, SSAE SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA/HITECH, NIST, CSA/CCM
