Moog Inc. has an opportunity for Animatics Assembler on 1st shift at our Murphy, NC location.


 


Job Summary:


  • Performs assembly operations in fast paced work environment
  • Follows work instructions pertaining to assembly and test

  • Utilizes computer to program software/firmware onto SmartMotor products

  • Performs testing operations on SmartMotor products

  • Troubleshoots basic electronic and mechanical assembly problems

  • Performs assembly, touch up, and final assembly of SmartMotor products

  • Performs basic mechanical assembly utilizing small hand tools and crimpers

 


Minimum Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reading and computational skills at the level of high school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to use a PC for retrieving work instructions, testing instructions, and programming of a SmartMotor product

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

  • Prior experience in electronic assembly of close tolerance components

  • Prior experience using basic hand tools

  • Ability to distinguish color

  • Ability to work overtime and Saturday, as needed.


 


 


Preferred Qualifications:


  •  Prior manufacturing experience using tools and gauges


 

 


Qualified internal candidates will be considered first for this position.

Due to the training time required, the person selected for this job will be required to remain in the position for a period of one year before becoming eligible to bid on other jobs within the facility.
